Fall is usually, typically the most beautiful of times in the Klamath Basin. This year the beginning of fall was met with wild-fire smoke filled skies. So much smoke that the view of mountain peaks was obscured for three days. It was hard to breathe, burning eyes, sore throats. All of this passes of course, but is worth noting. Not all transitions are comfortable or easy. The burning of a forest makes way for new life. Life continues and in the spring, new life will spring up out of the ashes.Be blessed--
