This message is to honor the life, the work and the memory of the late Dr. Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. Today, the church where I minister and offer Reiki to others on a regular basis is hosting a celebration to recall and to embrace the working principles of Dr. King's life. This is being done on the eve of the presidential inauguration of soon to be president Barak Obama. These two events are history in the making. It is a new beginning for relationships between all Americans and hopefully between America and the world. I offer Reiki for the well-being of Bsrak Obama. I offer Reiki to all those who are celebrating both these events.I know that offering Reiki so broadly may in some minds conflict with the edict to always have specific and direct permission to send and offer Reiki. Perhaps my ability to rationalize is at play here. I offer to the collective situation and for the greatest good for all concerned. I offer Reiki to the collective awareness of peace as a possibility. I offer Reiki through the sacredness of the universal life force energy that is lower case "r" reiki.
I also offer wishes for well-being and peace to all who will celebrate Dr. King's life and the inauguration of our next President here in America.
